Veteran Home Care
Veteran-Owned Small Business
Founded by a Marine.
Built for Those Who Served.
Heritage Home Care is a Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB). Our founder, Nate West, is a Marine Corps Officer who deployed to the Middle East, and that heritage of service shapes how we care for our nation’s veterans every day.
We understand the unique needs of veterans — the medical, the emotional, the cultural — and we work hard to ensure they receive the quality of care they earned. From hands-on personal care to companionship and respite for family caregivers, our team is trained to support veterans where they want to be: at home.
“Caring for those who cared for us.”
What We Provide
How We Serve Our Veterans
Comprehensive, compassionate care tailored to the unique needs of those who served.
Personal Care
Bathing, grooming, mobility assistance, and medication reminders — delivered with dignity and respect.
Companion Care
Conversation, errands, and transportation to VA appointments — because no veteran should feel alone.
PTSD & Specialized Support
Sensitive, trained support for veterans with PTSD, mobility limitations, and service-related conditions.
Respite Care
Relief for spouses and family caregivers so they can recharge while knowing their veteran is in good hands.
VA Benefits Guidance
Help navigating VA Aid & Attendance eligibility and the application process.
Transportation
Reliable rides to VA appointments, medical facilities, and pharmacy visits.
Financial Support
VA Aid & Attendance Benefit
The VA’s Aid and Attendance pension benefit provides financial assistance to wartime veterans and surviving spouses who need help with daily activities. This benefit can significantly offset the cost of professional in-home care.
Many eligible veterans and their families don’t realize they qualify, or they find the application process overwhelming. Heritage Home Care helps you understand your eligibility and navigate every step of the process so that paying for care never becomes a barrier to receiving it.
Our team has experience working with veterans and VA programs — we’re here to guide you through the paperwork and connect you with the resources you’ve earned.
Who May Qualify
- Veterans needing daily living assistance
- Surviving spouses of wartime veterans
- Those in assisted living or nursing homes
- Veterans with service-connected disabilities
“Finding Heritage was a blessing. They truly understand military culture and what my father went through. The caregivers treat him with the respect and dignity he deserves as a veteran. Our whole family finally has peace of mind.”
